How to get a HAr File

1. Open the Developer Tools

  • Right-click anywhere on the web page.

  • From the context menu, select "Inspect" to open the Developer Tools panel.

2. Enable Log Preservation

  • Within the Developer Tools panel, locate the "Settings" icon (usually represented by a gear or three vertical dots).

  • Click on the "Settings" icon to open the settings menu.

  • Look for the "Preserve log" or "Log preservation" option and ensure it is enabled.

  • This setting will prevent logs from being cleared during page reloads or navigations.

3. Reproduce the Issue

  • Navigate to the page or perform the actions that trigger the problem or error you are experiencing.

  • Ensure to follow the steps precisely as you encounter the issue to capture accurate information in the HAR file.

4. Save the HAR File

  • Click on the "Network" tab in the Developer Tools panel.

  • Right-click anywhere within the Network tab.

  • Select "Save all as HAR with content" from the context menu that appears.

  • Choose a suitable location on your computer to save the HAR file.

  • Provide a descriptive name for the HAR file for easy reference and sharing.



5. Share the HAR File

  • If necessary, attach the HAR file to your ticket.

  • Ensure sensitive information is redacted before sharing the file externally.
